AGENDA-ADF 4th Online Regional Meeting on Enabling Masterplan and COVID-19

On June 17, AGENDA DPO partners together with ASEAN Disability Forum held the 4th online regional meeting, with the topic “ASEAN Enabling Masterplan 2025 and the disability rights advocacy in COVID-19 pandemic.” Facilitated by IFES Inclusion Specialist, Rebecca Aaberg, and co-facilitated by AGENDA Disability Rights Advisor, Tolhas Damanik, the online meeting was participated by 31 participants from Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia and Laos. To increase DPO partners’ knowledge on the Enabling Masterplan, the DPO participants were given four COVID19-related scenarios to which they can explore ways and ideas on how they can formulate a more disability-inclusive pandemic response and recovery utilizing the Enabling Masterplan action points. This fourth online meeting also incorporated the use of an icebreaker activity and an online quiz using menti.com with Enabling Masterplan-related questions.
