CDPO Roundtable Discussion on Youth and Disability

On January 30, AGENDA partner Cambodian Disabled People’s Organization (CDPO) continued its series of radio roundtable discussions on the Masterplan with a show focused on youth with disabiliites. Ms. Chheun Tevy, a project officer at Light for the World, represented youth with disabilities while Mrs. Loun Soleap, a volunteer at International Citizen Service (ICS), represented youth without disabilities. The speakers discussed the challenges youth with disabilities encounter when trying to fully participate in the youth community, as well as current work and possibilities for collaboration between youth groups. The discussion was aired live on the in-house radio station, the Voice of Persons with Disabilities (VPD), and on CPDO’s Facebook page.
