On June 28-29, IFES organized digital storytelling training for AGENDA partners to strengthen their digital advocacy using storytelling techniques. Partners learned techniques to produce engaging social media content facilitated by IFES Senior Inclusion Specialist Rebecca Aaberg and IFES’ Digital Media Consultant, Jack Aung. In the training, partners learned how stories could add impact to their advocacy products through various videos, interactive activities and discussions. During a group exercise, participants also learned how people can interpret stories differently. Thirty-five people, including 21 women from OPDs in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, as well as from two civil society organizations (CSOs) from the Philippines and Thailand, participated in the training.
