On June 19, AGENDA partner Thailand Association of the Blind (TAB), organized a coalition meeting. The meeting aimed to develop a joint advocacy strategy plan among OPDs – especially  TAB and four civil society organizations (CSOs) – to improve education for persons with disabilities in Thailand. The meeting was organized in a hybrid format, with 35 offline and eight online participants, including 29 women participants. Three of the four CSOs, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT), the Thai Volunteer Service (TVS) and the Association of Special Education Teachers (ATSET), will focus on training activities related to persons with disabilities. At the same time, Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand (RSAT) will facilitate a focus group discussion (FGD) to identify challenges in education faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI+) persons with disabilities in Thailand.
