On 8-9 October AGENDA Disability Rights Advisor (PPDI) Risnawati U and Senior Program Officer (IFES) Erni A participated in Bali Civil Society Forum in a back-to-back program with Bali Democracy Forum VII. The program was devoted to CSOs and think-tanks of the ASEAN plus six state members. The theme of the program was “Democratic Governance in the 21t Century: the Role of Civil Society.” Ms. Risna shared on the essential role of CSO participation in strengthening the underpinning of democracy particularly for persons with disabilities.
